It was initially designed for the agrochemical market, to be fitted into mainly plastic drums: hence the name. Since then it has proven itself the perfect partner for all types of containers, including IBCs, but the term Drum Valve has led some people to assume it is not suitable for IBCs. To address this confusion, alongside the existing Drum Valve name we are now using the term ‘Returnable Stainless Valve (RSV)’ which reflects the longevity of the product and doesn’t imply any limitations on the type of container it is used for.
