Our 23/24 financial year has seen another turbulent period on the global stage with geo political events aplenty, conflicts and myriad global headwinds blowing squarely in our direction. The Chemical Industry has been at the apex of many of this, with declining output, restructuring, and full and partial closures of sites being experienced by many. With elections in the UK, Europe and US all imminent or in progress, it seems there is little end to this instability, for now at least. Against this backdrop, we can be proud that while IPI has seen little growth, we have solidly maintained our position. We continue to supply key global accounts with lifesaving equipment for workers and the environment as they go about their critical work, handling the chemicals which form so much of the built and manufactured environment we see around us. We have even extended our worldwide reach to Latin America for the first time. None of this could have been achieved without our dedicated and professional team, who strive everyday with new initiatives in marketing, sales, product assembly and finance, with a creativity and vision which ensures we remain successful and profitable. We saw the very best of this teamwork at the recent Surfex show, where every single UK team member came together to produce an engaging display of our Pro-Blend mixer system. This led to many enquiries, including some from several big players, which we know will stand us in good stead for the growth we envisage in the coming year. It’s not easy out there right now, so I’m extremely proud of the passion and commitment of my team to keep us where we are. A big thank you to all our customers, who continue to see the benefits of investing in our safe handling equipment, and we wish you every success in the coming months and years. Martin Willis Director
