Improving Safety with Closed Loop Transfer

Working with industrial chemicals brings with it the risk of exposure to either the liquid, gasses or both.

Transferring chemicals from large storage tanks to smaller containers; transportation from one plant to another; storage in warehouses without adequate container closure, all lead to an exposure risk. That means varying amounts of cumbersome, uncomfortable and expensive personal protective equipment needs to be worn and disposed of.

Our easy to use, robust closed loop transfer systems eliminate these issues. Comprising of a stainless steel valve and filling/extraction coupler, the system offers a completely closed transfer of your chemical from one container to another. The valve sits securely in the container (10L – IBCs, plastic or stainless steel), acting as a sealed bung during transportation and storage, and has been certified as the equivalent of a Tri-Sure plug. It can only be opened by the corresponding filling/extraction coupler which creates a completely closed loop to the next container/vessel. Furthermore our closed loop transfer packs (closed loop system plus container) offer the additional assurance of UN certification and ADR compliance for transportation, giving you extra peace of mind. The closed loop transfer systems/packs from IPI offer you the ease, cleanliness and, most importantly, the safety your workers deserve.
